Adding a new database connection

Adding a new database connection

  1. From the Navigator view, right click on the Databases node of the instance where you want to add the database connection to. Select New > Martini Database.
  2. Provide a name for your connection, and select the type of database you want to connect to. You can connect to a relational/SQL (JDBC), Cassandra, MongoDB, or Redis database.
  3. Populate the appearing form with your database connection information.
  4. Save your changes by pressing .

Test your database connections!

Although it is not required when adding or editing a database connection, we recommend testing connectivity to the database first before saving your changes. This way you'll know if a connection can be established or not.
