Initially, this interface is displayed as a form containing fields for configuring a search:
Through this form, the following search criteria can be configured:
- Search string: defines the terms to search for
- Case sensitivity: whether or not the character casing of the search string should be matched
- Content type: for filtering which file types to conduct the search on
- Scope: for specifying which instances should be included in the search
Search by instance support in Martini Online
Search by instance is not supported by Martini Online since Martini Online can manage only one instance at a time.
After a search is executed, the Search view will appear at the bottom panel (by default). This view will display the corresponding search results per instance. A double click on any of the results will open the corresponding editor for the file.
After a search is executed, the interface will be rearranged; search results will be displayed, along with the search form which will now be relocated at the bottom of the form. A double click on any of the results will open the corresponding editor for the file.
