Installing Coder Studio

System Requirements

Coder Studio is based on Eclipse 4.7 (Oxygen) and their requirements1 are similar.

Java Runtime Environment 8 8 or higher
Processor Speed 800 Mhz 1.5 Ghz or faster
Disk Space 300 MB 500 MB or more
RAM 512 MB 1 GB or more

Coder Studio runs on most popular operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS. It is confirmed to work on the following operating systems and is expected to work on higher versions. As for older versions, the application may or may not work. See Eclipse 4.7 Target Environments for more information.

Procedures

Coder Studio is packaged with an installer in an executable file.

  1. Open the TORO Coder Studio Installer executable file. This will launch TORO Coder Studio Setup Wizard.
  2. Follow the setup procedure.
  3. Double click TORO Coder Studio on your chosen installation directory or desktop (if you created a shortcut) to launch the application.

Coder Studio is packaged with an installer in a disk image file.

  1. Open the TORO Coder Studio Installer dmg file. This will launch TORO Coder Studio Installer.
  2. Drag the TORO Coder Studio to the Applications directory.
  3. Double click TORO Coder Studio on the Applications directory to launch the application.

Coder Studio is packaged with an installer in a shell executable file.

  1. Using a command-line application, cd into the directory where the TORO Coder Studio Installer shell executable file is located.
  2. Use the following command to open the setup wizard:

    sh ./TORO\ Coder\ Studio\ Installer_x86_64.sh
    
  3. Follow the setup procedure.

  4. To launch the application, double click TORO Coder Studio on your chosen installation directory or desktop (if you created a shortcut).
