Creating an Integrate Endpoint

To create an Integrate Endpoint, you must have an Integrate Package first; as this is where the endpoint will reside. After this requirement is fulfilled, you may create an endpoint using the following steps:

How to create an endpoint

  1. In the Coder Navigator view, double click on the Integrate Package where you would like your endpoint to reside, then right click on Endpoints, and then select New > Integrate Endpoint.
  2. In the wizard that appears, enter the endpoint's name and type, then click Finish.
  3. Populate the remaining properties of the new endpoint in the form that appears, then press or the save button in the main toolbar to save.

How to create an endpoint

  1. In the Coder Navigator view, double click on the Integrate Package where you would like your endpoint to reside, then right click on Endpoints, and then select New > Integrate Endpoint.
  2. In the dialog that appears, enter the endpoint's name and type, then Next.
  3. Choose the service that your endpoint will call whenever it is triggered, then click Next.
  4. Populate the remaining properties of the new endpoint, then click Finish.

Alternatively, you can also create an endpoint by right clicking on a service (which will be called by the endpoint) and and then select New > Expose as Endpoint from the context menu that appears.

Different endpoints, different properties

While all endpoint types do have common properties, there are fields specific only to certain types of endpoints. For more information, refer to their respective documentation pages. The introductory page for endpoints lists all endpoint types available for use.
