Procedures

Coder Studio is packaged as a ZIP file. To extract and install it:

  1. Create an empty folder (preferably on Program Files). This is where Coder Studio's application files will reside in.
  2. Right click the ZIP file and click Extract All...
  3. Select the created folder as the destination and click Extract.

After extracting, double click the TORO Coder Studio application to launch it.

Coder Studio is packaged as a tar.gz file. To extract it, simply double click the file. If you would rather use a command-line application, use the following command:

1
tar -xzvf fileName.tar.gz

where fileName.tar.gz is the name of the downloaded file.

After extracting, you will see the TORO Coder Studio application bundle on your current directory. Drag this to your Applications folder, then double click the application to launch.

Coder Studio is packaged as a tar.gz file. If your Linux distribution has a built-in GUI tool for extracting a tar.gz file, use it to extract the file. If not or you would rather use a command-line application, follow the steps below:

  1. Create an empty directory. This is where Coder Studio will reside in.
  2. Execute the following command on the CLI to extract the file to the created directory.

    1
    tar -xzvf fileName.tar.gz -C directoryName/

wherein fileName.tar.gz is the name of the downloaded file and directoryName is the name of the created empty directory.

After extracting, double click the TORO Coder Studio executable to launch.
